Rick and Laura Wilson’s Running Rabbit Ranch lies on a west facing slope at the top of Sonoma Valley. Its rocky volcanic soil produces intensely flavored grapes. Specialized whole berry fermentation captured this terroir in the wine.
Malbec’s focus is at the bottom back of your palate with blackberry flavors. Cabernet Franc gives the Malbec lift and a chocolate note. The Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure and a long finish. Our blends are all done by taste, like a great chef prepares his signature dish. The tannins are soft and the finish long.
