Custom Made Barrel Stave Wine Rack

This handsome wine rack is made by hand from barrels used by Deerfield to store wine. The red color on the interior of the wine rack is where the wood has been naturally dyed by the wine, giving it the luxurious color. During fermentation the oak barrel acts like a type of filter; absorbing elements that would be harmful to the quality of the wine. After about 6 years or so the "filter" is used up making it unsuitable for use in the winemaking process but perfect for home furnishings! These wine racks are made by the winemaker's nephew, Addison Rex, who is a Wine and Viticulture major at Cal Poly. Have him make you one to your exact height specifications. It is made entirely out or parts from a wine barrel and can hold up to 9 bottles of wine depending on your preference.
