2006 Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
Designed to show the best of the Russian River appellation, the is our most delicate, most Burgundian style Pinot Noir. The great Burgundies (French Pinot Noir) are assembled from many small village winemakers, each with his own style. The Burgundian style is mimicked by using a variety of these traditional techniques on multiple small batches. The cooperage was especially selected for this blend. The wine was aged on its lees for a full two years and left unfined.
The aromatics linger, the flavors explode in the middle of the palate, nothings out of balance. We released it early because it is so pretty. Drink now through 2020.
