Cuvée means "wine blend" in French and the term describes a very important element in this Merlot. Without blending Merlot can be one dimensional and forgettable. The blend brings Merlot extra depth, nuance and complexity without interfering with the fruity aromatic personality we like so much in Merlot. The supporting cast makes the star shine.
With a little less Cabernet, more Cabernet Franc, and a touch of Syrah, our ‘06 Merlot Cuvée has a more generous presence on the palate than the very popular 2004 Vintage. 1,000 cases made.
