The 2002 Cohn Vineyard Pinot Noir reflects the evolution in the reductive, fruit forward style that is sweeping California Pinot producers. It is lush and round toward the front with a more distinct berry component. Pinot goes with a wider variety of food than any other wine. We often pair it with grilled salmon and seared tuna. We have two other Pinots, the Jemrose Vineyard, Bennett Valley, which is even more fruit centric than is the '02 Cohn and an Ashton Vineyard, Sonoma Valley, that is floral and spicy.
